Vancouver Wedding Photographer - Best of 2018

What a whirlwind 2018 has been! It is so rewarding to look back on all the wonderful life events I have been a part of and created this past year. In my personal life, 2018 has been incredible, mostly because I myself, got married! I can now truly say from experience that getting married is the best, and our wedding was my favourite day this year. You can see our favourites on my personal blog here. However, this post is about my awesome clients. I gain so much fulfillment from capturing all their love and I want everyone to know that they are the reason why I love what I do. I even pray for all my couples and clients as often as I can!

In 2018, I photographed 35 non-Saturday weddings & elopements and 56 other sessions. Even though I will be based fully in Vancouver very soon, I did a lot of travelling between Alberta and BC as well as all over North America! I had the privilege of shooting in places such as Los Cabos, Hamilton, Canmore, Banff, Victoria, Southern California, Seattle, Revelstoke, North Dakota, Salmon Arm, Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, the Sunshine Coast, and of course my beloved Vancouver. Some other highlights included launching my customized albums through Vision Art, flying in a helicopter for the first time, being asked to become a Junebug member, climbing a tall mountain for sunset portraits, and attending ARC (a photography conference) for the first time where I was able to meet lots of other talented photographers. If 2018 has taught me anything, it is that being a photographer brings a ton of amazing opportunities, but it also requires a LOT of work. I hope that all the hard work shows in these photographs and they fill your heart with joy as well as inspire you to explore beautiful places!
