Hi! I’m Candice…
As you may already know, I am an elopement photographer who LOVES the outdoors and photographing people IN love. I am based in Greater Vancouver (Coquitlam specifically) but I lived in Alberta while in university, and my husband is from Winnipeg. After getting married we moved back to the lower mainland and we love being close to the mountains! I am a big people person, I am happiest when everyone around me is happy, and being outside fills my soul with joy, so being a wedding photographer is truly the perfect fit for me. I have been taking pictures every since I can remember, which goes back to when I was 5 or 6, capturing a trip through Yellow Stone Park with a disposable camera. Other than photography I love hiking, travelling the world, eating good food with friends, economics podcasts, and more recently, renovating our first home! I am always up for an adventure, and I love that I get to create such special experiences for couples just like you!
Your wedding photographer is so much more than a picture-taker.
I am your guide, friend, assistant, and supporter. In fact, I am the only vendor that will be with you almost the entire day! I bring happy energy to every session, and make sure you feel comfortable and beautiful in the process. With tons of experience shooting in locations around the world, I know what to plan for and how to handle situations that didn’t go as planned. Your only job is to enjoy the ride.
Why do I photograph elopements?
It isn’t for the features or likes on social media. I do this for YOU. I want to create unique outdoor experiences of adventure and beauty so that you can feel connected, joyful, beautiful, and completely yourself. If at the end of the day you feel amazing, I know it’s a job well done.

Picture this, you’re in your favourite place, with your favourite person, sharing meaningful vows, hugs, and maybe even tears. Now, a year later every time you look at a picture from that moment, it brings you right back. Every moment of your wedding is important from start to finish, and I feel so incredibly privileged to be a part of those little points in time. I want you to be able to relive the whole day and feel those emotions over and over. Your flowers die, the cake is eaten, the make up comes off, but these photographs will last forever.

2-Day Experience

What’s Included:
Your two-day adventure fully documented!
Whether you want to have a mountain adventure one day and a family get together the next, or celebrate in two different ways, I am here for it all. With up to 10 hours of shooting coverage on Day 1, and up to 4 hours of shooting on Day 2, this is perfect for those who want it all.

Starting with a phone consultation, I listen to your wants, needs, and dreams and help you every step of the way. In the same way that no two relationships are identical, no two elopements are the same. I will guide you through picking locations, setting up a rough time line, settling logistics, offering vendor recommendations, and getting even more details through a carefully crafted questionnaire.
All your photos
You’ll receive 50-100 edited digital images per hour spent shooting, delivered on a beautiful online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos anywhere you have internet. The full gallery will be delivered within 8-12 weeks, and you’ll receive previews within 1 week of your elopement. While the gallery comes with your own print shop, print release is included so you are free to download and print the photos wherever and whenever you choose.

We spend all day together and even though the pictures don’t show the bouquets I often carry or the good conversations we have, I do my best to make every moment of your elopement experience meaningful and stress free.

Your elopement adventure fully documented!
Whether you choose to get married deep in the forest, by the ocean, or on top of a mountain, I’ve got you covered. With up to 10 hours of shooting coverage, this will cover you from getting ready to your dinner celebration and all the adventures in between.

From the first time you see each other, to those gentle promises in your vows, I’ll be there to tell the story of your elopement. With up to 6 hours of shooting coverage, this should cover your vows, portraits, and either getting ready or a dinner celebration.

With up to 4 hours of shooting coverage, this will cover your ceremony and portraits in a beautiful way.

Adventure Sessions*
Want to add on an experience for another day? These can be booked separately at any time and we can take a hike or even a helicopter!
Sessions start at $1000 CAD plus GST for locations within 2 hours of Vancouver or if I’m already in the area.
Travel adventure sessions start at $1700 CAD plus GST. Inquire to receive a custom quote based on your location.

*NOTE: An Adventure Session is for portraits ONLY and cannot be booked as an elopement, vow renewal, or symbolic ceremony. For pricing related to wedding & any sort of vow ceremony, please refer to elopement & wedding packages.
Engagement Sessions
Scheduling an engagement session is a great way to get photos of yourselves in a more normal setting and get comfortable in front of the camera. They can be taken by a lake, in the forest, or even via helicopter!
Local engagements start at $700 CAD plus GST for locations within Greater Vancouver or if I’m already in the area.

Albums
Your photos deserve to be displayed with quality, not forgotten on a hard drive.

Additional hours
Whether you decide later on you want more coverage, or things run really late on the day-of; no problem! You can add extra hours at any time!
Additional coverage is $300 CAD plus GST per hour on all packages.
Second shooter
Having an extra person to catch different angles or to cover two things going on at the same time can be a great idea for some elopements. I work with talented photographers who are of the same or greater skill as myself to ensure the quality of work stays consistent.
Second shooters are $150 CAD plus GST per hour, with a minimum of 4 hour coverage.
